A Thrilling Day With Japanese Animated Sports In Cineplex Bashundhara City!

Haikyu: The Dumpster Battle!

An amazing thrilling day me & my friend got to enjoy on 27th June, 2024 as our long planned tour to Cineplex and watching an anime movie was a success. 

On the very day, we both prepared ourselves timely within 12 pm. Our movie was scheduled for 2:15 pm. At first, we took a rickshaw to reach Motijheel Metro Station. Then we got ticket to metro and selected our destination to Karwan Bazar which had only 5 mins walking distance to Bashundhara City Shopping Complex. As we got to Bashundhara City, we both were super thrilled with excitement. Then we got to the 8th floor where the theater was. As I booked tickets online, it just took a bit to get them. Then we had about 45 mins before the movie started. 

Yeah!!! Got the tickets!!! Lucky us indeed!!!

Never knew getting the tickets in hand would feel like winning lottery tickets. So funny!! 

We decided to warm ourselves up before the movie started. So on this account, we had Coffee & Corn!

As the time reached  2 pm we got ready quickly to enter through the gate of the Cineplex. Then we bought Popcorn & Cold drinks in order to enjoy them in the theater. 

Us Being Foodie Lol!!! At first we thought we would only enjoy the movie but it turned out we became so foody for just one day! 

Afterwards, we finally entered Hall 2 which was our theater. Our seat was in the center ; the perfect seats we actually got. THEN THE MOVIE FINALLY BEGAN!!! 

The Movie Haikyuu: Dumpster Battle, is an animated movie related to a famous sport in Japanese culture which is called Haikyu or “Volleyball”. As we watched the movie, we got to learn many things regarding this sport. For instance : Different positions like the setter, the striker, the ace etc who have major roles during a match. The movie main protagonist is “Hinata Shoyo” a short guy striker who can jump real high & deuteragonist is “Kageyama Tobio” who is the setter of the team “KARASUNO”. They both are very iconic & talented players  in their own ways. Their opponents are a strong team named “NEKOMA” with talented players like Kenma and Kuro. The whole plot of the movie surrounds the battle between the two teams(Karasuno & Nekoma) to win the quarter final match! Wiki : Haikyu! The Dumpster Battle

WE WERE TEAM KARASUNO & when the movie was ongoing, in the middle of the movie we totally screamed with our heart! reacting to several intense scenes. We were so thrilled at that moment. We got a break for about 10 mins when only advertisement was going on. Soon after the movie started again, we enjoyed ourselves to the end. We finished the movie from first to the very last. Then we took a last selfie before leaving the theater. It felt as though we enjoyed a real volleyball match! 

Altast getting out of the theater, we decided to complete our lunch as it was already 4 pm. 

We had lunch before going home! Fried rice & ice cream! Food day got over with the movie!

In a nutshell, it was a super entertaining day after a long time together with my friend! We both enjoyed the movie & had delicious foods that made our day more memorable! We hope to enjoy this type of day again in the near future insallah! Best of luck to us!
